More about me!

Hi There : )

My name is Joshua Roberson and I am a 23 year old director, choreographer and overall theatre practitioner. I was born in Las Vegas, Nevada where I saw a production of “The Berenstain Bears” at the Henderson Recreation Center. Enamored with how that production brought the bears from my tv screen to the stage began my lifetime love for theatre.

I recently graduated from Texas State University (Summa Cum Laude) with a BFA in Performance & Production with an emphasis in Directing. While in school I gravitated towards new play development, telling queer stories, exploring immersive and site specific settings, and plays that highlight the collective human experience. Being a human being is a horribly confusing experience and theatre is how I make sense of it all.

Outside of directing and choreographing, you can sometimes find me in costume shops, writing whacky plays, designing, or even performing sometimes. Outside of theatre, I love to run and ride my bike, go out with friends, watch movies, read lots, and explore the area around me!
